Gangrel made his debut August 23 on Sunday Night Heat. After his second match the next night on Raw from Philadelphia, Gangrel was viciously attacked by Edge. Other attacks by both parties had led many to believe that maybe these two have a history together. Last night, October 19 on Judgement Day, Gangrel came down to the ring with Edge's younger brother Christian, who made his first appearance on last month's pay-per-view. Christian soundly beat his opponent, Taka Michinoku, for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship belt. Edge watched from the audience proud that his younger brother won, but disappointed in his choice of friends. Nothing happened as Edge decided to let Christian savor the moment and didn't attack Gangrel from behind.
